Our Approach
At Xinmin Primary School, we believe that every Xinminite is a leader. Our programmes develop students across three key areas:

Through consistent routines and meaningful experiences, students develop strong character, positive habits and a sense of responsibility towards others.
Key Programmes
Class Compass (CC)
A class-based system that guides students in building positive habits and demonstrating school values consistently.
Through Class Compass, students:

Develop self-management and discipline through daily routines

Work together towards shared class goals

Reflect on their behaviour and make improvements
By making expectations visible and consistent across the school, Class Compass helps build a strong and positive school culture where every student knows what it means to act responsibly.
Watch Your Step (WYS)
Students return to class independently after recess and before the start of their after-school activity, developing self-management, responsibility and discipline.
Catch Me Good (CMG)
Students are recognise for acts of kindness and care, reinforcing positive behaviour and building a supportive school culture.
We Hear You Xinminites (WHYx)
A platform for students to share their suggestions and ideas, and contribute to school improvements, building ownership and confidence.
Developing Our Student Leaders
We provide progressive leadership opportunities for students across different levels:
Class Leaders (Category 2)
Students take on leadership roles within their classes and support daily routines while modelling positive behaviour.
